The official visit of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella to Uzbekistan continues.

The distinguished guest, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, visited the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

Fourteen years have passed since this higher education institution was established jointly with the Turin Polytechnic University representatives in Italy. Over the past period, the institution has trained many qualified personnel in the automotive industry, energy, and architecture. In short, good results have been achieved.

One of the factors for this success in the education system is the harmonization of the curricula of Uzbekistan and Italy. It should be noted that modern methods are used in the educational process.

The distinguished guest was informed about the reforms implemented in the domestic education system in recent years and the results achieved.

Currently, more than 2,000 young people study here. Graduates will simultaneously have two diplomas – from the Turin Polytechnic University in Italy and the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.
