Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted a roundtable discussion on “The present and future of Uzbekistan – Türkiye relations”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar noted that traditional ties of friendship and cultural relations link our states.

A presentation of Professor Khayrulla Khamidov’s book “Selected Works of Uzbek Literature: Stories – Poems (Anthology)” took place. The book presents translations into Turkish of the best works of Uzbek poets and writers.

At the event, reports were heard on the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, and a video “Historical look at the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye” was shown, prepared by Arzu Karausta, a 2nd-year master’s student at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
