The OTP Group Tashkent Grand Slam judo tournament has concluded in Tashkent.

Following intense and competitive matches, athletes from 13 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas secured medals at this prestigious event.

Uzbekistan’s men’s and women’s national teams claimed 12 medals in total, including 1 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze.

On the tournament’s final day, Uzbekistan’s judokas won 1 gold and 3 bronze medals, delivering unforgettable moments for their supporters.

Shakhzodkhoja Sharipov, competing in the -90 kg weight category, secured Uzbekistan’s only gold medal of the tournament.

Another Uzbekistan athlete, Nurbek Murtazoyev, secured a bronze medal by defeating Egor Malkin and claimed third place on the podium.

Ernazar Sarsenbayev in the -100 kg weight category and Alisher Yusupov in the +100 kg category won bronze medals.
