In January-October 2018, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 47.1 thousand, which is 11.7 thousand more than the same period last year.

In January-October 2018, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 47.1 thousand, which is 11.7 thousand more than the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee reports.

As a result, the number of active enterprises and organizations has increased by 32.1 thousand units since the beginning of the last year (11.2%) and amounted to 318.3 thousand units.

As of November 1, 2018, the number of operating enterprises with foreign capital in the country was 7155 units. Compared with the previous year, the growth in the number of operating enterprises reached 32.0%, or 1734 units. Of these, joint ventures account for 3837 units, foreign – 3318 units.
