According to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of March 10, 2018, March and April of this year are announced as months of landscaping and gardening, and a nationwide hashar is scheduled for March 18-19.

Hashar is a centuries-old tradition, during which socially important issues are jointly resolved, large-scale activities are being carried out on ensuring the cleanliness of territories, supporting the elderly, sick and people in need. The current nationwide hashar, as always, is taking place with active participation of the population.

Hashar is held in all regions of the country, villages, makhallas, organizations and institutions. All cohesively began to work from the early morning.

During the hashar days, it is envisaged to landscape and clean 44 thousand hectares of land, more than 8 thousand cemeteries, more than 760 places of worship and 27 thousand kilometers of irrigation canals, shape and whitewash more than 18 million trees, as well as plant 12 million decorative seedlings and more than 10 million fruit tree seedlings, more than 14 million flower seedlings.

A number of measures are being carried out on providing gratuitous assistance to socially needy strata of the population. During the hashar, houses of low-income families are being renovated and arranged, families in need, disabled people, elderly, veterans of war and labor are being visited, and material assistance is provided to them.



In these days, employees of every enterprise, institution and organization are making a worthy contribution to the nationwide charity hashar.
