To exchange experience on examination, registration, commercialization, and ensuring legal protection of geographical indications, employees of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Patent and Trademark Office of Türkiye held an online roundtable discussion.

Issues clarifying geographical indications, outreach, conducting international examinations, and preventing offenses were discussed at the event.

An agreement was reached with the Patent and Trademark Office of Türkiye to hold joint workshops and trainings.
