The Islamic Civilization Center leaves an indelible impression
As part of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, high-ranking foreign guests visited the Islamic Civilization Center – a large-scale scientific and educational complex initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Turchin, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda, as well as the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, became acquainted with the activities and exhibitions of the center, its scientific and educational projects, and exhibition pavilions created using modern interactive technologies. They were provided with detailed information on Uzbekistan’s pre-Islamic history, the formation and development of Islamic civilization, the rich heritage of outstanding scholars and thinkers, national cultural values, and the country’s scientific and educational potential.

The head of Kyrgyzstan’s government particularly noted the high level of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, which in recent years have reached a qualitatively new stage of development.
“Relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have taken on a strategic, long-term character”, says Adylbek Kasymaliev. “Trade and economic cooperation, as well as cultural and humanitarian ties, are steadily strengthened. We closely cooperate to implement the tasks set by our heads of state. A constant dialogue is maintained on all current issues. There are no bureaucratic barriers, and emerging issues are resolved promptly and constructively”.

Adylbek Kasymaliev also expressed confidence that the upcoming Intergovernmental Commission meeting, the President of Uzbekistan’s state visit to Kyrgyzstan, and the meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian states will give new impetus to the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The high-ranking guests praised the multimedia solutions, unique manuscripts, and historical artifacts presented at the center. They particularly noted the Islamic Civilization Center’s international significance as a platform for studying and popularizing the region’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
