The 150th IPU Assembly is currently underway in Tashkent.

Meetings of the Governing Committee of the Assembly, the Governing Council, and the Health Advisory Group will be held.

The draft resolution will be discussed in the Standing Committees on Peace and International Security and Sustainable Development. The Council of the Youth Parliamentary Forum and the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP) meeting will be held. The event will also feature a general debate on “Parliament’s efforts on the path of social development and justice”, as well as a meeting of the Bureau of the Standing Committee on UN Affairs. Representatives of the ASGP will visit the National Parliament.

The Assembly aims to develop the social sphere as a crucial condition for strengthening relations between society and the state and ensuring the sustainable development of countries.
