At a meeting between officials of Uzbekhydroenergo and the China Huaneng Group Co. Hong Kong, Ltd., the parties discussed developing the hydropower system using modern technologies, optimizing production processes through artificial intelligence and digital solutions, and improving management efficiency.

Particular attention was paid to the joint implementation of major investment projects and the strengthening of cooperation.

The results of cooperation between Uzbekhydroenergo and China Huaneng Group Co. Hong Kong, Ltd. was analyzed, and future objectives were outlined. As a priority, the parties identified the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, the digitalization of production processes, and the efficient management of hydropower facilities.

As part of the cooperation, the “Smart Hydropower Plant” concept will be implemented. This will enable the broad use of digital solutions and artificial intelligence at hydropower stations. At the same time, projects are planned to support continuous safety monitoring of hydraulic structures and bridges, introduce early warning systems, fully digitize production processes, and enable real-time monitoring of the operation of all hydropower plants through a centralized dispatch center.

Following the meeting, the parties outlined further steps on the issues discussed.
