The Elections of Deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Local Councils of People’s Deputies are being held enthusiastically.
More than 800 foreign and international observers are following the electoral process.
Tatjana Hecker, Berliner Telegraph correspondent, shared her opinion on the electoral process and voters’ attitudes to the elections.
– In Bukhara, everything is organized in accordance with the law at the polling stations, – says Tatjana Hecker. – Residents understand that their voices are essential for the development of the country, children’s future, and the purity of the environment. And this position pleases people.
All conditions have also been created in the CEC Press Center. The first briefing, at which the Chairman of the Central Election Commission provided information about the elections, has already been held.
We will also visit the polling stations in Tashkent. I would like to express my gratitude for the conditions created for international observers.
