After the successful launch of Beijing – Tashkent – Beijing flights, Air China continued to expand its route network to Uzbekistan, opening a new direct flight on the Urumqi – Tashkent – Urumqi route.

The first plane of this route landed at Tashkent International Airport. The crew and passengers arriving on the Boeing-737 were traditionally welcomed with a water arch and flowers.

“The launch of the flight between Urumqi and Tashkent is another step towards strengthening aviation cooperation between China and Uzbekistan. We are confident that this area will contribute to the expansion of business and tourism ties. It is important for us to provide passengers with reliable, comfortable and modern flights”, stressed the Air China representative.

Air China flights on the Urumqi – Tashkent – Urumqi route will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
