The Eighth Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption has kicked off in Abu Dhabi.

Khudayar Meliyev made a report, informed participants in detail about the measures taken on combating corruption in Uzbekistan. It was noted that the country is taking decisive steps to prevent and combat this extremely negative phenomenon, strengthen the legal and institutional framework.

Implementation of the project “Sphere without corruption” in the system of capital construction and education started as an experiment on August 1, 2019. Specific measures are being taken on removing the obstacles associated with red tape and bureaucracy, strengthening the rule of law, ensuring the fairness and transparency of all processes.
