A business forum dedicated to the economic potential of Samarkand was held in Japan’s city of Nara.

The event was attended by entrepreneurs from Samarkand as well as representatives of leading Japanese companies and organizations. At the opening ceremony, Acting Hokim of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboyev, and Governor of Nara Prefecture, Makoto Yamashita, discussed opportunities for developing trade, economic, and cultural ties between the two regions.

Forum participants were thoroughly briefed on the investment opportunities available in specific sectors of Samarkand, received information on proposed joint projects, and had the chance to establish close communication for future cooperation. Several bilateral documents were signed during the event.

The forum served as an effective platform for dialogue between the business communities of Samarkand and Nara, aimed at building bilateral partnerships across a wide range of sectors.
