The premiere of the documentary film “The Will of the Earth” took place at the Headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome.
The film was created with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the FAO Representative Office in Uzbekistan, and the Zamin Foundation.

The show was timed to coincide with World Soil Day and was designed to draw attention to the vital role of soil resources in ensuring food security and sustainable development of the agricultural sector in Uzbekistan. The film highlights the need to protect soils as a key natural resource underlying sustainable livelihoods, rural development, and long-term ecological balance.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy, the Permanent Representative to FAO, the leadership of the headquarters and the Representative Office of FAO in Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the country, the diplomatic corps, international and specialized organizations, as well as Uzbekistan students at specialized universities, attended the event.
The premiere became an essential platform for promoting initiatives on soil protection and confirmed the strong partnership between FAO and Uzbekistan in sustainable land management and its rational use.
