Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency Abdulla Azizov met with representatives of the delegation led by the Practice Manager at the World Bank Rekha Menon.

The issues related to scientific research and development, improvement of scientific institutions, creation of effective ecosystems, mechanisms for strengthening the pharmaceutical industry, and implementation of strategic projects aimed at developing production capacities and providing technical and operational assistance were discussed.

As reported by the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, the parties agreed on further cooperation.
