The meeting between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bobur Usmanov and the Election Observation Mission of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly was held at the MFA on October 26.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed issues related to preparing for the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.

Views were also exchanged on issues of increasing practical cooperation within the CIS and further developing and strengthening the inter-parliamentary interaction of the Commonwealth member states.
