
An international scientific conference on “The Phenomenon of the Eastern Renaissance: States, Religions, Individuals and Civilizations” was held during the International Cultural Heritage Week.
The event began with an international conference on “The Light of Enlightenment: Literary and Scientific-Cultural Reforms of the 19th-20th Centuries”.
Scientists, experts, heads of cultural organizations from several foreign countries, young people, media workers, and experts from CNN and Euronews were invited to the event.
The head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Otabek Khasanov participated as the conference’s moderator.
The director of the Center for Islamic Civilization, WOSCU Chairman Firdavs Abdukhalikov, emphasized that spiritual renewal prioritizes preserving the native language and studying the heritage of our great ancestors.
On the occasion of October 21 – Uzbek Language Day, the Rector of the Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, Doctor of Philology, Academician Shukhrat Sirojiddinov delivered a speech on “Language is a mirror of the nation”.
Representatives of Uzbekistan’s scientific circles and foreign experts also reported on spirituality and enlightenment in New Uzbekistan.
A discussion of the projects took place with the participation of foreign experts.
