As part of the 150th IPU Assembly, the event participants became familiar with family polyclinic No. 7 in Tashkent on the occasion of World Health Day.

As noted, the medical institution was launched in 1995 and currently serves more than 42 thousand residents, including 12 thousand children and 11 thousand women of childbearing age. The clinic receives 500 patients daily.

Representatives of the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and PMNCH (Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health) also attended the event.

The participants exchanged views on reforms in Uzbekistan’s healthcare system and projects implemented jointly with WHO and UNICEF to raise a healthy generation.
