The State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on December 10.

There are moments when you quietly and emotionally observe a vital event unfolding before you.

Imagine a great sports arena in a distant country where the State Flag of your homeland is being raised high. A stadium of thousands falls silent for a moment. The State Anthem of our Motherland begins to play, filling the hearts of compatriots with pride.

An anthem is not merely a melody or a song. It is the country’s history embodied in music, the dream of generations, and a symbol of national unity. When the anthem is played, it feels as though the heart of the entire nation beats as one. It reminds us of who we are, where we come from, and where we are heading. The anthem reflects love for the Motherland, uniting people around a common purpose. It is a spiritual force that inspires pride in moments of joy and gives strength in times of difficulty.

The anthem is performed at the highest state ceremonies, celebrations, international events, important political and historical occasions, in educational institutions – in a word, in every heart. When it plays, it reminds everyone of one thing: The Homeland and our place in it.

When the anthem sounds, some recall their school years, others their military service, and others moments of victory under the flag.

Today, we are celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We congratulate everyone on the day when our national spirit was revived, and our Independence became even stronger.
