Russia’s TechnoNICOL Corporation will build a plant to produce thermal insulation materials from extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) in Angren.

The enterprise’s capacity to be launched at the beginning of 2025 will be about 300 thousand cubic meters of finished products per year. The volume of investment in the project, which involves the construction of a plant and a warehouse for storing products and the arrangement of an asphalt site measuring about 1.5 hectares, will exceed 1.3 billion rubles (or 160 billion UZS). The plant will produce a full range of XPS slabs with a 20 to 120 millimeters thickness, intended for insulation of foundations, buried structures, floors, facades, roofs, and other building structures.

“The company will provide the construction market of Uzbekistan with modern, reliable, and high-quality materials, the need for which is felt in the region”, commented Sergey Kolesnikov, Co-Owner and Managing Partner of TechnoNICOL. “In addition, the launch of new facilities will increase the availability of products on the country’s market and establish exports to neighboring countries. The company will move to the active construction stage early next year. With the launch of the enterprise, about 50 new jobs will appear in Angren.
