“Taymetov. Messenger of Victory” is recognized as the Best Documentary by SIFFA UK
The film “Taymetov. Messenger of Victory”, directed by Eldar Yuldashev and created on the initiative of Uzbekistan Airports, won the “Best Documentary” nomination at the London Independent International Film Festival & Awards SIFFA UK.
The award ceremony took place at the legendary Piccadilly Vue Cinema. The film award was accepted by the Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Jasur Valiyev.
The SIFFA UK Festival is an official partner of the BAFTA Film Awards and the British Independent Film Awards.
The film’s victory opens up unique prospects – it can be recommended to the festival’s partners for consideration in one of the BAFTA nominations. In case of nomination of “Taymetov. Messenger of Victory” has a chance to become the first ever BAFTA Award nominee from Uzbekistan.
