Tashkent Summer Rating Tournament has kicked off in the capital’s International Chess Academy.

265 chess players, divided into groups A and B, are fighting for the victory. After the 1st round, 65 athletes became the winners in group A, and the same number of athletes lost the game. 13 group members finished the game in a draw. In group B, 54 players defeated their opponents, 12 ended the game in a draw, and 56 players lost the game.

The winners will be determined on August 28.
