Officials from the Anti-Smuggling Department at the "Navoiy" border customs post held a public awareness and prevention event under the slogan, "We are against human trafficking!"
The main goal was to increase the legal literacy of citizens traveling abroad and to warn them of the risk of becoming victims of human trafficking due to various types of fraud and deception. Notably, an average of 30,000 to 35,000 passengers pass through the "Navoiy" border customs post daily. Most of them are headed to neighboring countries, and through them to more distant foreign countries, for labor migration purposes.
During the event, flyers were distributed to citizens containing recommendations on how to avoid becoming a victim of human trafficking, how to act in dangerous situations, along with necessary contact numbers and legal advice.

A new, modern sports ground was commissioned in the city of Nurafshon. The opening ceremony was attended by the governor of the Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzayev, as well as activists, community members, and local youth.
The new sports ground will create a vital opportunity for residents to organize their leisure time meaningfully, widely involve youth in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and identify talented athletes.
During the event, it was decided that this venue will host mass sports competitions in various disciplines, wellness activities, and youth contests every Saturday. Such noble initiatives serve to develop sports infrastructure in local communities, raise a physically well-rounded younger generation, and create even broader opportunities for the public to engage in sports regularly.

In the Tashkent region, practical work is underway to organize market operations based on modern requirements, to digitalize them, and to further improve the system for maintaining public order in the regions.
To this end, a group consisting of representatives from the regional administration, law enforcement agencies, tax and economic crime prevention bodies, the "Toshvilbozorsavdo" association, officials responsible for artificial intelligence, and district and city governors visited Tashkent. They studied the best practices implemented in the capital's markets and shopping complexes. In the process, they familiarized themselves with the work being done to make the operations of markets and shopping complexes more transparent and efficient through digitalization and the use of modern information technologies, as well as to ensure public order in market areas.
Officials paid particular attention to the positive experiences in strengthening order and discipline in markets, promptly identifying and eliminating existing problems, and organizing control mechanisms based on modern approaches.
