Since the beginning of the year, the population has grown by 17.4 thousand people.

In January-March 2021, the number of people who moved to Tashkent amounted to 21.5 thousand people and the number of those who left was 16.6 thousand people. The balance of migration amounted to 4.9 thousand people compared to 12.5 thousand in the same period in 2020.
