At a meeting organized by the Ministry of Justice with international partners, large-scale reforms implemented in Uzbekistan and initiatives to increase the country’s investment attractiveness were discussed.
As noted, the dynamic development of international trade and investment relations requires effective and reliable dispute resolution mechanisms. International commercial arbitration and special judicial institutions based on the principles of English law are widely used in world practice. The need for further development of the international business environment in Uzbekistan, effective protection of investors’ rights, and the introduction of international legal standards was emphasized.

A Draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the International Financial Center” will be developed. The parties exchanged views on establishing the Tashkent International Commercial Court, which will serve as the judicial body of the Tashkent International Financial Center.
