On November 2, 2018, Educational and Consulting Center of Tourism together with the Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan, Silk Road International University of Tourism and the TGS Travel Bureau with the support of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, held a master class on “The role of tourism companies in development of tourism and promotion of tourism product” for representatives of Uzbekistan tourism business.

Professor of the University of Rovira and Virhili (Spain), Director General of Oh!Tels Hotels&Resorts (Spain) Giovanni Cavalli, who has 20 years of experience in tourism and hospitality industry in both American and European tourism markets, delivered lectures.

Application of international experience in Uzbekistan will contribute to improvement the quality and professionalism of the tourism industry of the country, and holding similar workshops, according to the organizers, will become a permanent professional event and create an open and accessible platform for discussing current issues on further improving tourism activities.

As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, more than 60 participants, representatives of state and private tourism organizations attended the master class.
