Tashkent hosts the Sabre FIE World Cup

The Sabre FIE World Cup among cadets and juniors has kicked off in Tashkent.

Around 360 athletes representing 23 countries are competing in the International Fencing Federation calendar tournament.

Over four days, young fencers will compete for medals and ranking points.

The individual cadet competitions will take place today, followed by the individual junior events on October 9-10 and the team competitions on October 11.
