Central Park in Tashkent named after Mirzo Ulugbek hosted the 19th Charity Festival of Cultural Traditions and National Dishes among diplomatic missions accredited in Uzbekistan.

Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Italy, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Oman, Palestine, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Türkiye, UAE, and others presented their rich cultural traditions and national dishes.

It was noted that since 2000, the Bureau for Diplomatic Service under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has been holding the Festival of Cultural Traditions and National Dishes, which has become a regular event, where employees of the Embassies working in Uzbekistan act as cooks and culinary specialists.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fazilov noted that the traditional festival fills the cultural life of the country with meaningful content and allows residents and guests of the capital to get acquainted with the culture of the countries participating in the festival and promotes the development of culture and tourism.

A performance by folklore and ethnographic groups took place along with a demonstration of a wide range of national dishes of foreign countries.
