The Kickboxing World Cup was held at the Republican Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Gymnastics, in Tashkent.
Following the tournament, the Uzbekistan team won 172 gold, 210 silver, and 336 bronze medals and took first place among 53 countries that participated in the competition. Second place was awarded to Kazakhstani athletes with 40 gold, 26 silver, and 50 bronze medals. Third place went to the Tajikistan team, which won 28 gold, 16 silver, and 21 bronze medals.
Also, 15 Gala Final fights were held as part of the World Cup. The fights were watched by WAKO President Roy Baker, Vice President Espen Lund, ARISF President Raffaele Chiulli, WAKO Uzbekistan President Asadjon Khodjayev, NOC Secretary General Oybek Kosimov, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia Otabek Umarov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Kickboxing Association Oybek Normetov, media representatives and fans.
