The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Union of Composers and Bastakors of Uzbekistan, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan organized an international conference on “The Musical Art of the 21st Century: Problems and Solutions”.

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Union of Composers and Bastakors of Uzbekistan, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan organized an international conference on “The Musical Art of the 21st Century: Problems and Solutions”.

The conference was attended by musicians and scientists from Australia, Vietnam, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan.

The historic meeting of the head of the state with creative intelligentsia, which took place on August 3, 2017, marked the beginning of a new stage in development of art, literature and the mass media.

At this meeting, representatives of the musical sphere were given instructions on formation of the right musical taste in youth, creation of highly artistic, perfect works in a modern style that meet the aesthetic requirements of our people, further revitalization of activities of creative teams, strengthening cooperation between them.

Various festivals, mastery lessons, and creative meetings held by the Union of Composers and Bastakors of Uzbekistan serve as an important platform for communication, exchange of opinions and experience between the national and international musical community.

Practical recommendations were developed on the reports discussed at the conference.
