Mayor of the city of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali held a meeting with the Khokim of Tashkent city.

On December 4, within the framework of the visit to Uzbekistan of a delegation led by the Mayor of the city of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, a meeting was held between the leaders of the capitals of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

Rustam Emomali expressed a desire to become acquainted with Tashkent’s experience in construction, as well as proposed organizing Tashkent Days in Dushanbe next year and holding a youth forum.

At the meeting, issues of strengthening mutually beneficial partnership in many areas, the implementation of joint projects were discussed.

Following the negotiations between the executive committees of Uzbekistan’s Tashkent city and Tajikistan’s Dushanbe city, an agreement was signed aimed at implementing a plan of joint activities in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Members of the delegation got acquainted with the changes being carried out in Tashkent, with the results of reforms being carried out in the country, and activities on development of infrastructure.

Dushanbe’s Mayor Rustam Emomali visited the greenhouse complex of “Manzarali Bogdorchilik va Gulchilik” LLC, located in Uchtepa district.
