According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Aziz Abdukhakimov, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea hosted a meeting with Uzbekistan Tourism Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, famous actress Lee Young-ae and CEO of Group Eight, Song Byeong-Joon.

The actress noted that she intends to continue working with Uzbekistan’s Tourism Development Committee and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Korea to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism brand and introduce Korean people with rich cultural heritage and sights of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, Lee Young-ae handed over “Saimdang, Memoir of Colors” drama, in which she played the leading role, as a gratuitous gift to Uzbekistan. The actress expressed hope that watching this film will help people of Uzbekistan to spend a meaningful leisure time during the quarantine period.
