The Embassy of Uzbekistan in London hosted a meeting with the CEO of the British Islamic Trade Association, Eman Mustafa.

The head of the British association emphasized that ensuring the participation of Uzbekistan tourism companies and manufacturers of halal products at significant exhibitions organized by the British Islamic Trade Association will positively impact bilateral trade and economic relations.

At the meeting, the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in tourism in recent years were considered, particularly the conditions created for tourist pilgrims. Information was presented about hotels, halal restaurants, a new tourist complex in Samarkand, and folk arts and crafts art samples.

An agreement was reached on the widespread promotion of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan among the Muslim British public, joint promotional activities, and the development of participation of Uzbekistan travel companies in halal tourism festivals in the UK.
