A high-level delegation led by the Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Alaa Omar Al-Ali, arrived in Bukhara.
As part of the visit, the guests became familiar with the activities of the Merganteks cotton-textile cluster, one of the largest industrial projects in Bukhara region.
Members of the delegation thoroughly examined the production environment established at the enterprise, tax and customs incentives, modern infrastructure capabilities, logistics system, and export potential, and received detailed information on the cluster’s strategy for entering international markets and its investment attractiveness.
The delegation then visited the Agrocluster DZZ in Bukhara.
The guests became familiar with the production process, technological lines, the quality control system, and the packaging and storage infrastructure. They were also provided with information about the soil analysis laboratory established to enhance soil fertility on cultivated land.
During their review of the enterprises’ operations, Syrian entrepreneurs explored opportunities for bilateral cooperation and discussed issues related to joint projects, investment agreements, and the development of trade and economic ties.
As part of the visit, the Uzbekistan – Syria Business Forum and B2B meetings are scheduled in Bukhara.
