The awarding ceremony of “Symbol of Water and Life” sketches and sculptures competition winners has been held in Tashkent.

Tashkent hosted the awarding ceremony of “Symbol of Water and Life” sketches and sculptures competition winners.

Director of the Branch of the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia in Uzbekistan, Project Manager Shakhnoza Umarova, Head of the Sculpture Department of National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod Nafisa Gilmanova and others noted the importance of the competition in protecting water purity and ecology.

The competition is aimed at encouraging participants to create sketches and sculptures about water resources and attracting people's attention to this issue. 60 teachers and students of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, Republican Specialized Boarding School of Arts and Republican Art College named after P. Benkov submitted their creative works to the competition.

Winners were identified in various nominations.
