Representatives of travel companies, mass media, and bloggers from Tajikistan got acquainted with Surkhandarya region’s rich tourism potential and signed cooperation agreements in tourism with their colleagues.

The guests visited the Tandir Kebab Center, the Sangardak Sanatorium, the Sangardak Waterfall and the tourist center of the same name under construction, in Sariosiyo district.

A road show and a B2B meeting took place, and videos about the region’s pilgrimage, archaeological, medical, gastronomic, tourism, and eco-potential were presented.

Representatives from travel companies of the two countries signed agreements to increase the tourist flow from Tajikistan and promote the region’s tourism potential.

More than 20 agreements were signed at the meeting.

Then the guests visited the Hakim Termezi Complex, the Fayoztepa Buddhist Monument, and other attractions of Termez district.
