The shrine, located in Chartak district’s Baliklikul village, has become a place of worship not only for Uzbekistan residents, but also for neighboring countries.

A mosque with 1,200 seats, a symbolic grave of Sultan Uwais Karani, a library, a hotel and a donation room have been erected here.

The surrounding area is landscaped, rare flowers and trees are planted.


The museum houses the second largest manuscript of the Holy Quran.
