Secretary General of TURKSOY, Sultan Raev, emphasized that it is a great honor and immense pleasure for him to participate in such significant events in Uzbekistan – the cradle of science and culture of the Turkic world, renowned for its rich history, great civilization, and ancient wisdom.

He highlighted the resilience, continuity, and strength of the cultural solidarity among the Turkic peoples. In this regard, he expressed profound gratitude to the members of TURKSOY’s Permanent Council and all the Ministers of Culture of the member countries for the decision to hold the Turkic World Culture Forum annually in one of the member states of the Organization.

According to the Secretary General, for more than thirty years, TURKSOY has regarded the preservation and development of the shared cultural identity of the Turkic world through art, language, literature, and music as one of its top priorities. The organization consistently implements initiatives to strengthen the spiritual ties among Turkic-speaking peoples and form a unified cultural space.

The Turkic World Culture Forum symbolizes a shared civilizational concept based on traditional values, rich heritage, and historical memory. This platform brings together creators, thinkers, writers, scholars, and cultural figures, paving the way for new ideas and creating a foundation for developing a unified cultural policy for the future.

He emphasized that Uzbekistan – the land of great thinkers, poets, and philosophers – has historically been central in developing Turkic-Islamic civilization. Outstanding minds such as Alisher Navoi, Imam Maturidi, Bahauddin Naqshband, and Abu Rayhan Beruni, through their legacies, pointed the way to moral excellence, rationality, and spiritual enlightenment. According to Sultan Raev, the modern generation’s task is to honor this most significant heritage and carry it forward, preserving and passing it on to future generations.

Speaking about the aesthetics of Turkic culture, Sultan Raev noted that every ornament and every work of art carries profound meaning. Ceramics, carpets, and music are not merely forms of artistic expression, but symbols of the people’s identity, history, and values. The aesthetics of Turkic culture is not just about external beauty, it is a universal language capable of uniting humanity on a deeper level – through emotions, the soul, and the heart.

According to Raev, humanity increasingly turns to its roots in a world full of challenges, instability, and spiritual searching. The answers to many modern questions, he believes, lie hidden within ancient cultures. Turkic culture embodies a rich spiritual legacy and can offer humanity a path to harmonious and conscious coexistence based on universal and moral values.

He emphasized that actual progress is only possible when grounded in inner beauty, harmony, and the aesthetics of the heart. He noted that the culture preserved by the Turkic peoples serves as a source of hope and inspiration for the entire world.
