A delegation consisting of responsible representatives from the joint-stock companies Uzsuvtaminot and Bukhoro Suv Taminoti is on a working visit to India to study international experience in the construction and reconstruction of sewage systems.

As part of the visit, the delegation became acquainted with modern water treatment facilities and the next-generation technologies used in them. Representatives of Wapcos briefed the guests on the engineering solutions they employ and their advantages.

It should be noted that this company is acting as a consultant in the implementation of the second phase of the project “Construction and reconstruction of water supply and sewerage systems in Bukhara region”, financed by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

The members of the delegation are also studying advanced technological approaches, methods for saving water resources, and wastewater treatment in accordance with environmental requirements. The experience gained will help improve the effectiveness of reforms aimed at modernizing the water supply and wastewater management system in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
