Structure of the permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan
As of July 1, 2024, Uzbekistan’s permanent residents were 37,134,2 thousand people.
According to the Statistics Agency, this indicator has increased by 2.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
From this:
Number of women – 18,437.5 thousand people;
The number of men – 18,696.7 thousand people;
In urban areas – 18,940.4 thousand people;
In rural areas – 17 193.8 thousand people.
