At the initiative of the Uzeltechsanoat Association, meetings were held at Uzkabel JSC and Procab LLC with representatives of Dongfang Electrical Corporation, one of the largest Chinese investors in the energy sector.

The parties discussed several strategic projects currently being implemented or planned in Uzbekistan.

During negotiations, particular attention was given to procuring the cable and wire products necessary for these projects through Uzbekistan’s local electrical engineering enterprises on a cooperative basis. This partnership will not only enable the signing of new agreements and the establishment of supply channels but will also strengthen the capacity of local manufacturers and significantly increase the level of localization.

The parties put forward mutually beneficial proposals to reach practical agreements in the coming days.
