At the meeting, representatives of India became familiar with the main provisions of the Concept of Improving the Tax Policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Particular attention was paid to activities of the Scientific Information Center for New Technologies under the STC and achievements of this institution in the field of data processing. Great interest among Indian partners was caused by the announced plans for introduction of modern innovative technologies in the tax sphere of Uzbekistan, further development and improvement of the data center architecture.

An important subject of the negotiations became issues of implementation of joint projects in such spheres as information-communication technologies, development and management of data processing centers. The parties noted the need to share best practices in the field of information security, professional development of IT-specialists.

The parties expressed a mutual opinion on the need for practical implementation of the reached agreements.
