A meeting with the winners of the State Prize named after Zulfiya 2024 took place at the Palace of Youth Creativity in Tashkent.
Minister of Preschool and School Education Khilola Umarova, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov, and others noted that awarding a prize named after a beloved poetess is a high trust and a great responsibility.
In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On awarding the State Prize named after Zulfiya” of March 4, 2024, a group of girls who have achieved high success in literature, science, education, sports, and other areas and who have already clearly defined their civic position and life path were encouraged.

At the ceremony, representatives of various ministries and agencies congratulated the girls who had been awarded the State Prize named after Zulfiya.

“This year, six of our girls joined the ranks of followers of Zulfiyakhonim in art and culture”, said the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov. “In previous years, no more than two girls were recognized as worthy of an award in this area. This is also an example of the attention paid to our national art”.

The award winners were presented with gifts at the gala event, and the artistic and musical program added a special spirit to the evening.
