Representatives of several Spanish companies visited Uzbekistan to establish cooperation in emergency medical services (EMS).

At the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed issues regarding the establishment of cooperation in the sphere of medicine.

The Spanish side expressed its readiness to implement joint projects to improve and introduce modern innovative information and communication technologies in the activities of the EMS, to open centers and schools for training specialists and nurses, as well as to supply ambulances with taking into account the preferences of the Uzbek side.

The parties also agreed to implement with the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid a pilot project to introduce digitalization in the sphere of medicine, as well as to organize a return visit to Spain for a delegation of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan soon to get acquainted with the work of similar projects.

Negotiations were also held with the leadership of Uzavtosanoat JSC. The delegation visited the SamAuto plant in Samarkand, where they got acquainted with the production capabilities of the enterprise for the production of cars and buses.

The Spanish side proposed to organize a return visit of the delegations of the Ministry of Health and Uzavtosanoat to Spain to get acquainted with the work of similar projects in the country and sign relevant agreements on the conditions for their joint implementation.
