The Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriyev met with the leadership of the Global Rail Group of Hyundai Rotem.

The parties discussed the project to localize the production of electric trains operated by the South Korean railway operator Korail at Tashkent Passenger Carriage Construction and Repair Plant JSC.

Uzbekistan Railways JSC signed a corresponding agreement with the South Korean company Hyundai Rotem and announced the purchase of six high-speed trains.
