This year, it is planned to grow 3,250 boxes of silkworm grains and produce more than 180 tons of raw material of sericulture. Labor contracts have been signed with 240 farms and 200 home-based workers for this.
Activity is carried out to increase the productivity of mulberries, which are the main source of food supply.
Mulberry plantations on 21 hectares are created on a makeshift basis on the territory of alternative machine and tractor parks “Navbakhor” and “Oq Oltin”. 65 low-income families will be employed.
45 360 boxes of silkworm grains will be grown in the region, more than 2500 tons of industrial raw materials obtained. Contractual agreements are concluded with 3857 farms and 5894 home-based workers. More than 548 thousand mulberry seedlings are planted on new mulberry plantations located on 174 hectares.
