“Silk Road” is a new project implemented in Kazakhstan by JSCs Passenger Transport, TauKomek Travel, Turan Kazakhstan Travel, Grand Soluxe Travel Company, SkyWay Travel, Kompas, and Khan Turan Travel.

This is a four-day tour during which tourists will get acquainted with the sights of Turkestan and Tashkent. The program includes a guide, meals, and transportation services.

As the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan reported, the first train route, Almaty – Turkestan – Tashkent – Almaty, starts today.

“As a result of joint efforts, we managed to create a unique tour connecting the two countries”, says Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Yerkinbayev. “We hope many will enjoy getting to know Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan’s rich spiritual and historical heritage. This project is an important step towards developing tourism and strengthening cultural ties between fraternal peoples”.

Travelers will be able to see Utror, ​​one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, which was considered an important trading network in the past, the Ariston Bobo mausoleum, the Azret Sultan historical and cultural museum-reserve, and the most prominent tourist complex, Caravan Saray. In Tashkent, tour participants will get acquainted not only with historical sites, but also with modern construction.
