Today, Uzbekistan widely celebrates Youth Day, with major festive events held at the International Congress Center in Tashkent.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the event to congratulate and support the youth on this significant occasion.

At the entrance to the center, presentations highlighted projects, discoveries, and achievements of young people across various fields. The exhibition “Young Innovators” showcased developments in engineering, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and drone technologies. The “Green Initiatives” area presented ecological projects, solutions in alternative energy, and agriculture. The “Creative Projects” section featured accomplishments in crafts, design, visual arts, video production, and producing activities. Meanwhile, the “Youth Entrepreneurship and Startups” zone provided visitors with the opportunity to explore successful initiatives launched by young entrepreneurs.

Among the featured initiatives was the “Billz” program, developed by Rustam Khamdamov from Tashkent, which automates processes for small and medium-sized businesses. The project has already attracted investments totaling $6.6 million from investors in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Türkiye.

Sherzod Niyazimbetov, a young farmer from Karakalpakstan, grows organic tomatoes, sun-dries them, and exports them to Italy and France. His enterprise employs around 200 people.
Also prominently represented was the Youth Academy, established by a Presidential Resolution in 2019, which currently brings together over 7,000 young researchers. Among them is Sayfullo Qodirov from Tashkent, who developed drones capable of mapping agricultural lands and spraying crops from the air.

Particular attention was drawn to the achievements of young women who won the “Digital Generation” competition. Lobar Abdullayeva from Khorezm developed the “AI Scan” program for diagnosing oncological diseases using artificial intelligence. Kumara Sagidullayeva from Karakalpakstan designed a solar-powered mini-tractor, while Abdullo Jamoliddinov from Tashkent invented an automated garden irrigation system.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev personally reviewed the showcased projects and spoke with their creators.
“Every success of our youth is our strength, our potential, and our hope for the future. Today, our children are excelling in advanced fields and staying ahead of their time. If we support them, provide quality education and conditions for growth, they will achieve even greater results”, the Head of State emphasized.

Following his visit to the exhibition, the President instructed relevant ministries to provide support to young inventors and assist in the development of their projects.

As Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted, Uzbekistan is home to many talented and proactive young people. This is a direct result of the efforts made to develop the education system, particularly in STEM fields. In recent years, dozens of specialized schools in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and information technology have been established. Within the framework of the “One Million Coders” initiative, 325,000 young people have already completed training.

Youth entrepreneurship is also rapidly advancing: 261 enterprises founded by young people are now reporting annual turnovers exceeding 100 billion UZS. Moreover, $145 million in venture capital has been attracted to finance startups.

Even broader prospects and opportunities for Uzbekistan’s younger generation were outlined by the President during his meeting with the youth.
