President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Samarkand region to become acquainted with the development of the region and the life of the population.

The program includes visits to industrial enterprises, tourism complexes in cities and districts, acquaintance with transport infrastructure facilities, new housing.

A meeting with the participation of people’s deputies and representatives of the public will be held on the second day of the visit. Further steps for the socio-economic development of the region will be outlined.
