Shanghai hosted Uzbekistan – China Business Forum on “Prospects for enhancing cooperation between business circles”.

The event was attended by more than 70 leading Chinese companies, regional leaders of Uzbekistan, representatives of ministries and agencies of the two countries, and the media.

Chinese business people became acquainted with the economic potential of Uzbekistan, the investment climate, and opportunities for technological cooperation, as well as opportunities in tourism.

An open dialogue took place with representatives of Chinese companies, their experiences and opinions on the activities in Uzbekistan were heard. Heads of several companies interested in cooperation and establishing business connections also shared their views.

Representatives of industry agencies and regional hokimiyats of Uzbekistan held bilateral talks with leading Chinese companies – potential investors.
